Two Formats
Two Formats. One weekly sweat.
Same weekly Pick, opposite goal. The Host locks in the format before the Pool opens.
Pick a winner. Stay alive.
One team a week to win. A wrong Pick costs a Strike, run out and the Entry is out. Ride the favorites while they last, because no Entry can use a team twice all season.
The classic, also searched as a suicide pool, eliminator pool, knockout pool, or last man standing.
Pick a loser. Sweat every comeback.
One team a week to lose. A win costs the Strike, and a garbage-time touchdown can flip your whole Sunday. Same no-reuse rule, upside down.
Sounds easier. It is not.
The weekly Pick
One Pick a week, from that week's real games.
Every week your group gets the real slate. Pick a team, change your mind as often as you want, and the Pick locks at that team's kickoff. Teams you've burned stay crossed out, so nobody needs the spreadsheet tab of shame.

The 2026 season
Get live before kickoff.
Entries close once the Pool's first week kicks off. The earlier the link goes out, the bigger the field.
NFL
One team a week for 18 weeks. One bad Pick can end the run.
FAQ
Questions Hosts actually ask.
Want the full rulebook, edge cases and all? The explainer goes deep.
Same weekly rhythm, opposite goal. In Survivor you pick one team each week to win, and a loss costs your Entry a Strike. In Losers you pick a team to lose, and a win costs the Strike. Survivor is the classic format, the one people also call a suicide, eliminator, knockout, or last-man-standing pool. Losers flips it, you root for the loss and sweat every comeback. Your Host locks in the format before the Pool opens.
No. Once an Entry picks a team, that team is used up for the rest of the season, win or lose. If a game is voided, the Pick is released and the team becomes available again. That one rule is what turns week 10 into a strategy problem instead of a coin flip.
Only if your Host runs a one-Strike Pool, which is the default. A wrong Pick costs a Strike, and an Entry is eliminated when it runs out of them. Hosts can allow anywhere from one to five Strikes.
A Pick locks at the selected team's kickoff, not at one weekly deadline, so you can change it until your team takes the field. Other players cannot see your current Pick until it locks. The Host can always see it, which keeps disputes resolvable.
No. Entry fees are peer-to-peer, players settle directly with the Host, and Sunday Squares never holds the Pot. We track who has paid so the Host always knows who still owes.
Publishing a Pool costs $14.99, or 3 Hosting Credits if you already have them. That price is flat for any group size and covers the full season, and players never pay Sunday Squares to join. Hosting Credits live in one wallet that also publishes Squares, so returning hosts can spend what they have.
Your group can absolutely play for bragging rights. Set the Entry fee to zero and the weekly game works exactly the same. Publishing the Pool still costs the flat $14.99, or 3 Hosting Credits, no matter what your group plays for.
