Run a Squares fundraiser
School teams, booster clubs, and office causes run Squares because it's an easy ask: one box, one game, and four quarters to root for. People who'd skip the bake sale will take a box. See how Squares work.
Set the price
Pick a price your crowd will say yes to. At $10 a box, a full 10x10 is a $1,000 pot. Smaller crowd? A 5x5 has 25 boxes.
Decide the split up front
Choose how much of the pot goes to winners, and say it in the description so everyone knows before they claim a box. Check your local rules first. Here's one way to split $1,000:
Fundraiser example
$1,000Get every box claimed
Send one link to the parents' group chat, the team email, or wherever your supporters are. They claim boxes on any phone or computer, and the Square shows everyone what's left.
If not every box sells
Close the Square yourself before kickoff and the numbers get drawn on what's claimed. Turn on the Open Box Bonus and when an empty box wins a quarter, that payout goes into a bonus pot drawn at random among box owners after the game.
Who holds the money
You do. Supporters pay you directly, Settle Up keeps the list of who's paid, and when the game ends you pay winners in one tap. Sunday Squares never holds the money.
