Your games, in your chat

Ask about your picks, find a game, or get a draft ready for your group. Connect your Sunday Squares account once, then ask in your own words.

Claude and ChatGPT are ready to connect. Follow the setup below to add Sunday Squares yourself. Sunday Squares isn't listed in either directory yet.

Paste this URL into your AI app's connection settings. It isn't a page to open in a browser. You don't need an API key.

1. Open Claude's Connectors settings, then choose Add custom connector.
2. Name it Sunday Squares and paste the server URL above.
3. If authentication options appear, choose Always required and Use Anthropic's hosted client metadata. Leave additional headers empty.
4. Add the connector, then connect. Sign in on Sunday Squares and review the permissions before allowing access.
5. Enable Sunday Squares in a new chat and ask it to show your games. Approve the tool request when Claude asks.

Your plan and workspace settings control access to custom connectors. In a team workspace, an owner may need to add the connector first. See Claude's setup guide for current availability.

This uses ChatGPT's developer mode. Availability depends on your account and workspace policy.

1. In ChatGPT settings, open Security and login and enable Developer mode.
2. Open Plugins, select the plus button (Create app), and name the connection Sunday Squares.
3. Enter the server URL above for the public MCP connection. Complete the Sunday Squares sign-in and permission flow when prompted.
4. Review the discovered tools. If the list is empty after connecting, choose Refresh in the connection settings. Then choose Try in chat and ask it to show your games.

If those settings aren't available, check OpenAI's current connection instructions or ask your workspace owner.

Once you're comfortable, ask it to create a draft or make a pick. Include the game or Pool name so it can find the right one. Check the details before approving changes.

The consent screen lists the access your AI app requests. Depending on those permissions, it can read games, create and publish your Squares and Pools, delete unpublished drafts, claim boxes, make picks, and mark players paid in games you host.

The same game rules apply here as on the site. Your own Pool picks are visible to you; other players' picks follow the Pool's reveal rules. Hosts can see all picks. Available leagues, seasons, and kickoff times still limit what you can create.

Publishing spends Hosting Credits. Your AI app can start a Hosting Credits checkout, but you finish it yourself on Stripe. Players pay hosts, and hosts pay winners, outside Sunday Squares.

Data returned to your AI app can include game details, picks, and player information you're allowed to see. A host's view may include player contact details and payment handles. The AI provider's privacy terms govern its copy of that information. Read our privacy policy and your provider's terms before connecting.

Open your Sunday Squares profile, find Connected apps, and choose Disconnect for the connection. Further calls are refused until you connect and allow access again.

Disconnecting stops future access. It doesn't undo changes or remove information already saved in your AI conversations.

Check that you copied the full server URL, including /mcp, and signed in to the Sunday Squares account that has your games. A “Method not allowed” message in a browser tab is expected; add the URL inside your AI app instead.

If tools appear but a call fails, reconnect and try “Show my games” in a new chat. For help, email support@sundaysquares.com with your AI app, the time, and the error message. Leave out passwords, API keys, and authorization tokens.
